Newlyweds on honeymoon found peaceful days and explored the island, found ponies on the 4x4 beach, saw the hundreds of migrating white swans gathered in the Duck inlet, tried local restaurants and began a life's journey together under the gentle influence of the spirited Vintage Mermaid Cottage.

Celebrated in style with drinks in hand - excellent view of fireworks seen from the top deck! Our family arrived early, got primo parking, at SeaGreen Gallery, ate breakfast, got excellent coffee and mimosas at Treehouse Coffee Scarborough Faire, then walked a short block to our lawn chairs and caught the July 4th morning parade in Duck, a local tradition while staying at The Vintage Mermaid Cottage.
